Enzymes – feed optimizers
Enzymes can help achieve high profits and better feed digestibility.
Feed additives or feed enzymes solve a number of problems in animal and poultry feeding, positively impacting their health and productivity. The use of enzymes allows for the inclusion of poorly digestible components in feed formulations and significantly reduces feed costs.
Enzymes, biological stimulators, enhance and accelerate biochemical reactions, and without their use, achieving high feed conversion rates on livestock and poultry farms is challenging.
In the production of compound feeds, digestive enzymes of the hydrolase class are used, capable of breaking down complex compounds into simpler ones, thereby improving digestion. Hydrolase also contains all enzyme preparations used to increase the efficiency of nutrient utilization in feed. Amylolytic, proteolytic, pectolytic, cytolitic, and cellulolytic enzymes belong to the hydrolase class.
Such enzyme complexes help break down anti-nutritional substances, including non-starch polysaccharides, and when entering the animal’s gastrointestinal tract, they reduce the absorption of endogenous enzymes. Grains (wheat, barley, oats, rye) contain a large amount of soluble fiber, which reduces the activity of animal enzymes and complicates absorption processes. Compound feed enzymes of the hydrolase class, together with animal enzymes, provide animals with nutrients.
To reduce feed costs and improve the absorption of nutrients by animal and bird organisms, feed manufacturers use biological catalysts – enzymes or ferments. This provides the following advantages: increased growth rates, better feed conversion, improved uniformity of livestock development, and better nutrient absorption.
